When Teledanmark's Publishing chose me as the Artist of the Year in 1997-98 for all the Yellow Pages telephone directories in Denmark I had the fantastic and unique opportunity to pass on my paintings' healing and joy to everyone in Denmark.
It was amazing and deeply moving to receive all the kind words and experiences from wonderful people that had taken the time to write to me and in some cases even to send me presents conveying the emotions the paintings invoked in them.
For example, I will never forget the old, weak lady that called me to tell me that she had her nurse cut out the paintings from the Yellow Pages and frame them and that they now stood on her bedside table to make her happier and to help her through her illness ... extremely beautiful.
